I'd like to have this job. It's not my dream job, but I'm not qualified right now for my dream job. So, here's hoping that you're right and telling you all means I'll get the job.
Good thing is that I don't have long to wait. I was one of six people being interviewed and there won't be a second round. Decision is being made on Friday and an offer will be made to someone the beginning of next week.
Is it a good thing that they asked me about salary and that the range I gave was precisely the same as theirs?
